5 JOTAS 100% ACORN-FED JABUGO HAM is Spain national treasure and the best ham in the world, elaborated by Sánchez Romero Carvajal, who´s been breeding its own pigs since 1879, thus maintaining the same genetic line. These pure and singular animals are raised freely in the woodlands of southwestern Spain, in Jabugo, province of Huelva, and are fed exclusively on acorns, which give the ham its exquisite aroma and flavors. After 18-36 months of aging in the cellar under the watchful eye of the ham master, and following strict quality control, only the pieces that meet the higher organoleptic qualities are to be labeled “5J”, a true gem of Spanish gastronomy famous worldwide.
